Cosmetic Laser and Surgery Center has been seving Washington Parish and the surrounding area with cosmetic surgical procedures since 2001.

Dr. Jay Appurao, the founder of the center, is a Board Certified Surgeon in active practice, doing general surgery including advanced laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery since 1981. His wife Dr. Vijaya Jayagopal is an anesthesiologist in practice along with him since 1981.

Dr. Jay Appurao, well known to most people and friends as simply Dr. Jay, has built a well trained team of nurses and assistants to perform Liposculpture procedures in conjunction with the Out-Patient Surgery department of LSU-Bogalusa Medical Center using advanced and sophisticated equipment. However, most of the cosmetic procedures are done routinely in our private office.
